Processing plant at Jacobina averaged approximately 7,500t/d in May.
Furthermore, a new combination of mill liners and grinding balls allowed an increase in throughput while maintaining grinding size. In May and June, Jacobina conducted trials to test the existing capacity of the processing plant and evaluate the optimal processing rate, and identify bottlenecks for future throughput increases.
